Sponsoring is a great way to help animals in need.
As a no-kill rescue, we are committed to helping all animals who need our assistance, so we often care for some animals that have health problems such as heartworms and injuries. The medical expenses for these animals can be high and there are costs associated with housing and feeding them as well.
Some examples of sponsorable animals are:
- Animals having heartworm treatments, which can run hundreds of dollars in vet costs
- Older/geriatric animals that are difficult to place in new homes
- Nursing mothers with litters of puppies or kittens
- Abused animals that are difficult to rehome
